Our Story

It takes a Villa…

Several years ago, we had a vision to inspire women to bring their authentic feminine voices to leadership, and to pave the way for new ways of leading and influencing.

We launched Chocolate Villa in 2008—a program created by women for women—to enhance their aspirational thinking, build their capabilities for leadership, and help them find ways to balance their career and life priorities.

Villa Leadership Group grew from the need to take a broader, deeper approach to developing women, but also to enrich the environments that support and nurture them. We’ve developed our Chocolate Villa insights into a suite of strategies that help companies build cultures of inclusive leadership—not just because it’s the right thing to do, but because it makes good business sense.

Our Philosophy

We believe that tomorrow’s leaders will build more successful organizations on the principles of balance.

We recognize that conditions are changing fast—in the workforce, in the landscape of our economies, and in the rapid-fire technology that both serves and shapes us. To be wildly successful in the future, we must prepare our top talent now to lead in the changing world ahead.

The greatest opportunity we have now is to establish gender balance at our leadership tables and create workplaces that enable a truly balanced approach to working…and living.
